Cantor Ephraim Biran, was born and raised in what originally was Palestine. Cantor Biran was singing in his synagogue's children's choir at the age of six years old. Inspired and trained by his father, sacred music has been precious to him and continues to move him profoundly. His love for opera moved him from Italy to Israel and then to America. In 1963, Cantor Biran joined the Rodeph Sholom Clergy. Since then, Cantor Biran has been an integral part of Rodeph Sholom forming all types of choir programs that have lasted for generations.
